Typically, when I post a shoot I simply just post the photos ~ but these photos have a bit of a story behind them that I thought might be snazzy to share. So there we were, team Soph & Soph driving off out of Wellington (I’m Welly based for a few days) with plans of going to Makara beach to shoot. With blue skies and warm sun we had not predicted thatΒ the beach may firstly be at high tide and secondly be so windy we could barely walk along it. Deciding it was completely stupid to bother to shoot there, we had to improvise ~ which is hard to do with no phone service, so upon looking on the very scarce map, we saw a spot of sea and decided to drive there. We ended up on some rando one way, steep, never ending road which took us right up to the wind turbines where there was this very odd (on the creepy side) building which in all its creepiness was actually pretty cool, and the view was the ultimate stunning kiwi view ~ and THAT is where we shot. So don’t ask where we shot because we low key have no clue.
